A:Not possible. If the voltages are the same, the lithium-ion battery charger can charge lead-acid batteries, but the lead-acid battery charger cannot charge lithium batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are charged with constant current and voltage, and lead-acid is charged in three stages.
Generally speaking, lithium-ion battery packs are equipped with special chargers when they leave the factory. In order to protect the lithium-ion battery, a dedicated charger is required. What type of battery needs to be matched with what charger. Q: How deep can a lithium iron phosphate battery be discharged?
A: LiFePO4 batteries can be discharged up to 100% without risk of damage. Make sure you charge your battery immediately after discharge. We recommend discharging be limited to 80-90% depth of discharge (DOD) to avoid the BMS disconnecting the battery.
